MANY INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN OUR COMMUNITIES ARE WORKING HARD BUT STILL STRUGGLING. 

Across Linn, Benton & Lincoln Counties, individuals and families are facing rising costs, limited access to resources, and barriers to opportunity. These create stress for individuals and families. But together, we can change that!

FOR DECADES, UNITED WAY OF LINN, BENTON & LINCOLN COUNTIES HAS BROUGHT PEOPLE AND RESOURCES TOGETHER TO ADDRESS OUR MOST PRESSING CHALLENGES. 
We partner with local nonprofits, businesses, and community leaders to create solutions that support our communities and strengthen our future. 
  • Community Resiliency – Building stronger communities through volunteer engagement, disaster preparedness, and coordinated responses to emerging challenges.
  • Dolly Parton's Imagination Library – Fostering a lifelong love of reading and improve literacy by providing free, high-quality, age-appropriate books to children from birth to age five, regardless of family income.
  • Financial Security – Strengthening financial stability through workforce development, housing stability, and economic opportunity.
  • General Fund – Strengthening community resiliency, financial stability, healthy communities, and youth opportunities for children, individuals, and families across our communities.
  • Healthy Communities – Improving access to health, nutrition, and wellness resources so individuals and families can live healthy and stable lives.
  • Linn County Child Abuse Network (L-CAN) – Supporting the coalition of local organizations working to eliminate Child Abuse from Linn County. 
  • Youth Opportunities – Supporting children and young people through early education, family engagement, and pathways to college and career success.

​WHEN WE WORK TOGETHER, REAL CHANGE HAPPENS. 
  • In 2025, we provided grants to local nonprofits strengthening community resiliency, financial stability, youth opportunities, and healthy communities across Linn, Benton & Lincoln Counties.
  • In 2025, we partnered with local businesses to provide 75,000 meals to Linn County nonprofits and community members.
  • Over 5,500 children (birth to five years old) are receiving books each month across Linn, Benton & Lincoln Counties
