WHERE COMMUNITY BECOMES IMPACT

Across Linn, Benton, and Lincoln Counties, real change happens when people come together with purpose. United Way mobilizes communities to take action—connecting people, partners, and resources to build stronger, more equitable futures for all.
Whether through community events, long-term initiatives, or proven local programs, each effort is part of a shared commitment: helping every individual and family thrive.

Events That Bring Us Together
Community is built in the moments we come together—and our events are where connection turns into action.

From the energy and tradition of Crab Fest, to the community spirit of Pig Out for Parton, the ALICE Summit, and Day of Action, these gatherings bring people across Linn, Benton, and Lincoln Counties together to learn, celebrate, and create meaningful local impact. Each event plays a role in raising awareness, strengthening connection, and turning shared purpose into real change.

Every ticket purchased, every conversation sparked, and every hour volunteered helps mobilize resources that strengthen families, expand opportunity, and support neighbors across our region.

When we come together, we do more than gather—we build momentum for lasting impact.

Initiatives That Strengthen Our Region
Strong communities don’t happen by chance—they are built through focused, collective action.

United Way’s initiatives center on the conditions that help every individual and family thrive: Youth Opportunities, Healthy Community, Financial Security, and Community Resiliency. Together, these efforts address both immediate needs and the long-term systems that shape well-being.

We listen closely to our communities, respond to evolving challenges, and bring partners together to create solutions that are both practical and lasting. From supporting youth success to strengthening financial stability and building healthier neighborhoods, our work is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves equitable access to opportunity.

This is how change grows—locally, intentionally, and together.

Programs That Create Lasting Change
Real impact happens when trusted programs meet real community needs.

We support and invest in programs that create stability, opportunity, and connection across our region. These include United for ALICE, which highlights the realities faced by working families; the BottleDrop Blue Bag Program, which transforms everyday recycling into meaningful support for local programs and services, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which helps children build literacy from birth; Fiscal Sponsorships, which strengthen local nonprofits; Funding Opportunities, which help direct resources where they are needed most to strengthen local impact and expand community-driven solutions, South Benton Advisory Council (SoBAC), which centers local voices; and our Workplace Campaign, which turns employee generosity into community-wide impact.

Each program reflects a shared commitment to accountability, collaboration, and measurable results. Together, they form a network of support designed to meet today’s needs while building a stronger future.

Because when resources, people, and purpose align—communities don’t just survive, they thrive.

Together, these efforts reflect what’s possible when a community chooses connection over isolation and action over awareness.
United Way of Linn, Benton & Lincoln Counties is here to bring people together, align resources, and turn local generosity into lasting impact—because when we unite, we don’t just respond to challenges, we build a stronger future through them.

Funding Solutions from the Cascades to the Coast.
United is the Way.
