Applications are now closed. 

United Way, in partnership with Benton County, has established a granting process for local CARES Act dollars to aid non-profits offering COVID-19 related emergency childcare and tutoring/proctoring services. 

Grants will be distributed across Benton County ONLY during January 2021, providing for immediate and emerging needs. Completed applications can be sent to Blake Pang at Blake@uwlbl.org. Applications are due December 4, 2020. 

Terms & Conditions of the Grant:
  • The agency must be a 501(C)3 Nonprofit Agency or a Government Unit providing services in Benton County in Oregon.
  • The agency must be in good standing with both the IRS and Oregon Secretary of State.
  • This is a one-time grant that is expected to be dispersed within 6 months.
  • The agency must have a demonstrable history of sound accounting and business management practices.  They may be asked for financial statements.
